Corn Creek Campground Testimonials
We had a great camping experience this past weekend. We were pleased with how accommodating the owner was in helping us get set and with providing great information about the surrounding area. The facilities were clean and comfortable. Sitting by our camp fire in the cool mountain nights was awesome. Good place to stay.
Great little campground, owner Doug is awesome, we stayed in May 2020 then ended up coming back for August and September. Right on The Snake for the motorcycle riders. Pot lucks, big fires, music and good times!
Very relaxed and friendly place to camp. Not fancy but homey. Next to a bubbling creek and the owner is friendly, helpful and accomadating. A nice place for couples, older folks. No playgrounds etc. But we love it!
Our luck was in when we needed a last minute place and Doug answered our call! Warm and friendly little campground where everyone joins in a potluck and hangs around the communal fire pit. Doug has coffee waiting in the morning, and makes a mean Seafood Gumbo. Miss April’s Porch is an oasis of peace next to the creek. Highly recommend this camp – great location near the Snake and Watauga Lake. Dennis and I will definitely stop in the next time we are in this area.
Best little camp in Tennessee! Doug is such a great guy, specially to out of towners who forget to make a reservation! Put us up right next to the creek and building, which is the best spot there if you ask me. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. His gumbo is amazing! Clean and accommodate bathrooms, showers and on site washer and dryer. I suggest a relaxing evening on the back porch listening to nature. Hope to return soon. I’d give it 10 stars! ~ Your visitors from North West Iowa.
Great place to camp, convenient to everything. Friendly people; the owner lives on site and is awesome about going the extra mile. Clean bathrooms and showers, washer and dryer available. Covered area is available to sit under and especially useful if it rains. Also very relaxing to sit on the deck behind the barn and listen to the bubbling stream.
